Alexis' Bridal Session | Kairos Celebration Barn | Fredericksburg, Texas

If there are other photographers reading this blog - they will know exactly what I'm talking about when I say: I walked away from this bridal session feeling like I had just taken some of the best pictures of my career. And when I looked through the files that night my heart was fluttering and singing. And then of course.- I had to wait TWO weeks to share!!!

Alexis' bridal session is one of the most gorgeous sessions I've ever had the pleasure to photograph. When your bride wears an off the shoulder dress, has a pink bouquet and a blue vintage loveseat, how can you possibly not have a fantastic session?!

We went out to Kairos Celebration Barn in Fredericksburg Texas with lovely sunshine and evening air to take these portraits and it did not disappoint. If you haven't checked out this little gem in the Texas Hill Country, they host a Second Saturday Series where they have a delicious meal prepared with wine, and you can eat, dine and enjoy all the beauty the Texas Hill County has to offer! And of course they also host weddings.

Back to the bridal portraits - Alexis is a gorgeous bride, with a warm smile and friendly laugh. We became friends instantly and we giggled throughout her whole session. Her two sisters (who are just as awesome as Alexis) came to help with her dress, and of course the blue vintage loveseat - which was pretty darn heavy. I also accidentally posed Alexis in an ant bed ---soooooo sorry!!! but the light was gorgeous! (no worries though, we moved right away lol)
