Bridal Boudoir - Kerrville Wedding Photographer

With Valentine's Day happening in two weeks, I thought it might be fitting to blog a little bit about bridal boudoir portraits or basically any time of boudoir portraits. Wether it be for Valentines Day, Birthday, Anniversary or just sweet simple gift for your partner or even yourself, these images can do the trick.

Boudoir Photography kinda gets a bad rap sometimes as being tasteless and inelegant. But if you find a photographer that you like and you can see some of their work, then they really can be quite mysterious and alluring.

Most women use boudoir sessions and images as gifts to their partners, but some use it for themselves as an excuse to get hair and makeup done and have a gorgeous pictures of themselves. Because let's admit, even if we say we aren't vain, we all want a gorgeous portrait of ourselves. Even if we have to hide it.

Now, boudoir photography is very very hard to show on online because clients usually don't want there images on the internet for the world to see, so you'll need to ask for a portfolio, or meet with the photographer in person to see samples albums.

As a Kerrville wedding photographer, I always ask my brides if they are interested in doing a session like this for their grooms gift. Some brides are into and some aren't. Some think that the images have to be really revealing, when in reality a big sweater and cute panties can be just as cute as complicated lingerie. Or his favorite shirt, a sports jersey. Or even a bedsheet that covers everything completely. Mystery is always sexy.
